First Grade Art
In first grade art, we have table leaders like we did in kindergarten, but with more responsibility. We begin each class with a "Draw Now" to put out brains into creativity mode. We have to copy shapes from the whiteboard, and then use our imaginations to turn them into something new. In first grade, we work on many fun projects including landscapes, portraits, and collages, and learn about artists like Piet Mondrian!
